Rotten Apples: Greatest Hits

Comes on 2LP vinyl.

Rotten Apples is a carefully curated greatest hits compilation that captures the essence of The Smashing Pumpkins’ enigmatic and powerful journey through the alternative rock landscape of the 1990s. Released in 2001, the album spans the band’s entire career up to that point, from their iconic debut Gish to the genre-defining Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and their more experimental offerings on Adore and Machina.

The collection brings together the band’s most beloved tracks, including the raucous energy of “Today” and “Bullet with Butterfly Wings,” alongside the ethereal beauty of “1979” and “Disarm.” With hits that blend elements of grunge, goth, psychedelic rock, and baroque pop, Rotten Apples reflects the versatility and ambition of frontman Billy Corgan and the band’s unique sonic vision.
