Release in July 2025, this is Natalie Bergman’s sophomore solo release, My Home Is Not in This World is a dispatch from somewhere just out of reach—half memory, half mirage. Natalie Bergman doesn’t so much arrive with this record as she drifts in, trailing incense smoke and quiet revelations. The song “Dance” lives in that liminal space between earthbound grief and spiritual release, and it never rushes to resolve the tension.
The production is sparse but tactile—warm analog textures, restrained percussion, and melodies that seem to hover rather than land. Lyrically, the album circles loss, faith, and the uneasy feeling of not quite belonging anywhere. When she sings about home, it’s never a place you can map—it’s something abstract and possibly unattainable. There are clear sonic touchstones—gospel, ‘60s pop, desert folk as seen in the track called Gunslinger.
