Con Todo El Mundo

Comes on vinyl LP.

Con Todo El Mundo is a soulful and atmospheric album by Khruangbin, blending a seamless mix of funk, soul, psychedelic rock, and Latin influences. The album, characterized by its smooth grooves and lush instrumentation, creates a deeply immersive experience. The band—composed of Laura Lee on bass, Mark Speer on guitar, and Donald “DJ” Johnson on drums—delivers a sound that feels both laid-back and transcendent, with lush, reverb-drenched guitar lines and hypnotic rhythms.

The album’s title, which translates to “With All the World,” reflects its inclusive, expansive vibe—there’s a sense of global unity that threads through each track. The sound evokes the spirit of various international musical traditions, from the laid-back rhythms of ’60s and ’70s funk to the sultry, desert-like atmosphere of Middle Eastern and Latin sounds. The instrumental tracks, such as “Evan Finds the Third Room” and “Maria También,” demonstrate Khruangbin’s signature ability to merge a diverse range of styles into one cohesive, relaxing yet dynamic soundscape.
