Weezer (Red Album)

Comes on vinyl LP.

Weezer (often referred to as The Red Album) is the sixth studio album by American rock band Weezer, released on June 3, 2008. Marked by a return to a more classic sound, this album blends the band’s signature power-pop hooks with a touch of experimentalism, offering a mix of accessible rock anthems and deeper, more adventurous tracks.

The album opens with “Troublemaker,” an upbeat, riff-driven anthem that sets the tone for the record’s balance of catchy, radio-friendly rock and introspective moments. Throughout the album, lead singer and songwriter Rivers Cuomo embraces his trademark vulnerability and witty lyrics, touching on themes of love, self-doubt, and personal growth. Songs like “Pork and Beans,” with its iconic music video, became an instant fan favorite, blending cynical humor with a catchy, triumphant chorus.
